The title Palabra cadabra is a play on both the Spanish word for word, Palabra, and the well known magic spell. This is because the game involves a need to, well spell words!
The object of the game is very simple, given a word, the player must score points by making words from the letters of that initial word, anagram style. For example, with the word title, a player could have little, tell, till, tile, tilt, etc. The more words you get within the sixty second time limit, the higher your score.
To add to this, the games' soundscape changes, with the background music getting more complex and excited depending upon how many words a player gets, and even some mocking laughter if you get a word wrong. With the ability to keep a log of your scores, and play with or without bluetooth keyboards, this is the perfect answer for anyone to test their linguistic brain. Indeed, "linguistic!" is right, since the game can be played in either English, Spanish or Catalan, with more languages likely to be added in the future.
